    At this visitor center in the heart of downtown Hartford, guests can find maps of downtown Hartford and Connecticut, brochures and flyers for local events and attractions, thematic itineraries, and the chance to talk with staff members attractions and activities in the capitol area. Also there is a Connecticut-themed gift hop and a summer farmers market. There's a lawn for picnicking and many nearby restaurants.
